Into the Tropics

Ever want to escape?  Just the thought of the tropics, the sand, the palm trees, the water…..makes me breathe a little easier.

I am so inspired by the lush greenery and having now moved from the West Coast to the South East,  I see the theme.  I always come back to what feels peaceful and light.

There is something out the tropics that has a draw to it.  Is it the idea of a vacation?  Of the water close by?  Of the vibrant colors that dance all around?  Everything about it calls to me.  So it reflects in my art.  Can I bring that vacation feel into my home, into your home?  Needing a little bit of an escape daily sounds good to me.  We aren’t all lucky enough to live on a Caribbean Island, but we can escape for a few seconds as our bodies react to the visionary delight around us.
