Time for Play
There always seems to be a shortage of time. For all the things there are to do. Finding time for play almost sounds wasteful, doesn’t it? Or maybe the better word is indulgent. My first thoughts are - must be nice if someone has time to play. Play sounds like childhood games. But maybe those children have something to teach us adults. It seems adulthood becomes so serious, there has to be so much more than being productive……
All these things exist in our lives and both sides can be true at the same time….right?
Work & Play
Calm & Chaos
Being present & Daydreaming
Life is full of all these polarizing things and I am trying to embrace it all.
Adulting is so much easier when we find time and space to play. When you have time to get curious about what makes you laugh or having new experiences where ideas can inspire you. More and more, I am realizing the power of play. It is not time wasting, it is a crowd pleaser and I might even go as far to say it is necessary to cope with life.
